Poster Design, Letterpress Print & Concept
Designing a fictional concept and a matching purely typographic poster for a specific cultural event sounds easy at first, but raises some questions on closer inspection:
How do I get the mood of the event right? How do I submit the event without the help of illustrations or photos? What information must be on the poster? How do I put text and titles in a good and respectful relationship to each other?
The poster deals with the fictional event called Lichtdurchgang. A light projection will be installed in the Lützelbachtunnel for one week, which is freely accessible at any time of the day. In addition, there will be a vernissage on 18.10.2018 at which the dancers of the French Adrien M & Claire B Company together with their technicians and artistic staff form a symbiosis between light projection, music and dance.
